Es Obvio

Es Obvio

I recently joined Tumbler and was pretty unfamiliar with it before I joined. Luckily, it's fairly user friendly and easy to navigate. As I was "exploring" Tumbler I came across an amazing artist Es Obvio, with an equally awesome blog. The art  of Es Obvio caught my eye with its sense of rhythm, bold colors, and maybe most of all its intricate details. I was equally impressed with his blog, which is quickly becoming one of my favorites, because he posts what seem to be some very carefully chosen inspirational images as well as some very cool artwork by other artists.

Rodel-LA (the LA stands for Latin America), the label of designer Helen Rodel, is definitely one of my current favorites! Based in Brazil, Rodel-LA specializes in intricately detailed knitwear  but is certainly not limited to just that. When I first discovered Rodel-LA in N.E.E.T. Magazine a few years ago, the bright colors, whimsy, and ultra mod vibe of the clothing immediately caught my eye. Even though there is a clear 60s and 70s influence, Helen Rodel's take on this era is very fresh and unmistakably modern.  This is definitely one of the most unique clothing labels out there right now. While I would love to own a Rodel-LA piece (or two) someday, just browsing through there Flicker or Facebook photos provides endless inspiration. I'm always waiting to see what Rodel-LA will come out with next so I was very excited when I came across the new collection on Facebook. I thought I would share some of my favorite pieces here. The two pics below are a couple of my past favorites.
